Water Agent: Non-Iodized Salt, 500g
Organic, non iodized salt is used for pickling vegetables. Iodine eventhough good for our health, apparently kills most of the good bacteria and yeast naturally present in vegetables and fruits. This results in a contamination and/or a fermentation failure.
PRODUCT INFO
As a water agent salt can help reduce the pH. However it is only used in tiny amounts as a water additive. Chlorine ION helps increase perceived Maltiness in Malt-centric beers.
