Mead & Flower Wine Yeast:
- Suitable for all styles of Mead, Herb wines and Floral wines such as Rose, Dandelion, Lavender etc.
- This yeast has a alcohol tolerance 15%.
PRODUCT INFO
Instruction to make 25 litres of mead:
- Mix 20L of clean water (30-35°C) with 6-9 kg of honey.
- Check that liquid temperature is max 30°C then add 20g of Alephont's Mead Yeast and add 5-10g Yeast Nutrient depending on the amount of honey.
- Leave to ferment between 20-30°C.
- Fermentation is usually over in 5-7 days.
- We suggest aging the wine for at least 2 months after bottling for a flavourful taste to develop.
