Designed specifically for commercial Kombucha production, these fermenters are also ideal for open fermentation of witbier and other German/Belgian ale styles. As well as primary fermentation of wines.

Features:
- Comes with perfect volumetric calbration and marking.
- Glass tap ensures clean environment and discourages microbial growth. Tap also allows for continuous fermentation over batches without disturbing the scoby
- Thick lip and curve at the top allows tying cloth/breathing elements with ease
- Heat resistant Borosilicate glass can easily handle pouring of boiling water directly in the fermenter for sanitisation and cleaning.
- High ratio of SiO2 ensures faultless glass frame which is more ressistant to accidental shocks compared to regular glass.
Glass Care: When maintained well, Borocsilicate Glass can last forever. So lets see how we can keep the fermenter looking mint as long as you use it.
- Avoid abbrasive material such as steel scrub/wool to wipe the glass surface to avoid scratches
- When in use, always station the fermenter on either a 25mm to 30mm thermocol sheet or 8mm< rubber sheet.
- Avoid manually handling the glass especially when wet. This may cause it to slip and fall.
- We suggest using Clear-SBW for cleaning and BTF Iodophor to sanitise the glass. It's efficient, needs no manual handling/lifting and non corrosive unlike some acid based cleaners.
- Dismantle all parts of the Tap when cleaning and sanitising
- After taking samples through tap, make sure to spray the insides of tap with SBW and iodophor to avoid a chance of contamination.
